Church Ministries
We are opening the Shepherd's Shop in Hooks. It is a thrift store whose proceeds will be used to further the ministry of FUMC Hooks and to serve the surrounding community. Typically, we also have a craft Bazaar in the fall along with a BarBQ. We also extensively support Hooks Children's Ministry, an organization that works to provide not only a Christmas for poor and needy families, but also, it is a source of financial assistance for those who may need it throughout the year.

Special Programs
We are a church that likes to gather as a family around the table. Typically we join in a church dinner at least once a month. We have a sweetheart dinner in February and Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners at the end of the year. In May we will have a Beans, Bread and Bones lunch. This will be a combination Ham-n-beans Cornbread dinner in combination with a "42" tournament. Our children's program is getting off the ground and we look forward to the future God has in store for us.
